The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating two fatal shootings that occurred just after 11:30 a.m. on November 6, 2025, in the 1100 block of 98th Avenue. When officers arrived, they located two adult males suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). Both victims died on the scene. Investigators from the OPD Homicide Division are conducting a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The identity of the deceased victims is being withheld pending notification

Waterford Township Police Department Waterford Police received a 911 call about possible gun shots at the Oakland Schools Administration Building at 2111 Pontiac Lake Road.
