My first practice parts on our Milltronics cnc mill. I’m making some brass soft jaws for my Wilton vise. I’ll break these down into a few short segments covering both first and second ops. A long backlogged shop project turned into a good learning and training exercise for me. I only have basic general purpose tooling as of now so I’ll be continuing to add the proper cutters, inserts and tooling I need as we move forward. #abom79 #cnc #cncmachining #cnctraining #milltronics #brasssoftjaw #wilton

Back on the Milltronics CNC lathe to make a small batch of aluminum parts for the welding shop. This was my first Cnc lathe project drilling holes and I gotta say it all went great. I used the AddForceCut parting tool to also cut a weld bevel on the back side before parting it completely off. Catching parts will be another subject I need to learn about. I’ll tap all of these with the Flexarm. Big thanks to Kevin @mechvantage for the Fusion training help with this program 👊🏻 Sometime it’s dead
