I went to see sumo wrestling in Tokyo 🇯🇵 Whilst it wasn't the grand tournament, it was an intimate event where you got to learn about the history of sumo and the traditions & rules. We were served food including chankonabe, a soup eaten in vast quantities by sumo wrestlers while trying to gain weight. We watched a few bouts of sumo which was so much fun and they even got some audience members up to challenge them...unsuccessfully of course! Have you watched sumo before? Tell me in the comments
