We are catching fish on #2 and #4 Mepps, so be prepared with both set-ups. The #2 is more likely needed for shallow humps and #4 for deep humps. Deep structures holding fish are Long Ridge, Iron Wall Hump, and Spillway Hump.

Cedar Creek Lake. 9/19/2024: Cliffshot and friend David went out with me, and we caught 139: 129 whites, 3 legal hybrids, a short hybrid, 3 cats including a 15 lb blue, and 3 yellow bass. Best spots were Key Ranch, The Rock Pile, and Enchanted Isle Ridge. Caught them on small BoBlade, blade baits, Panther Martin Clones, and Mepps #4.

Jun 8, 2022 · This year I made a trip to Lake Sam Rayburn. I fished Monday from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and again today from 7 AM to 12:05 PM and caught a total of 112 fish: 76 whites, 19 drum, 9 yellow bass, and 8 black bass. I couldn't find any on side-scan. So I kept searching different depths using sonar and X4 sonar and eventually found them in 34 to 38 fow.
