The woman who accused Kansas City Chiefs star receiver Xavier Worthy of felony assault on March 7 was granted a temporary protective order against him this week. Tia Jones, Worthy's wife, filed for the protective order because she claimed Worthy violently put his hands on her at least five different times over the last year, according to TMZ.

Kansas City Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested Friday and booked into a central Texas jail on suspicion of assault of a family member by impeding breathing/circulation, according to Williamson County, Texas jail records. A Chiefs spokesperson said Saturday morning that the team was aware of the incident and gathering information.
