The Bruins lost by a 7-2 score to the Sabres, who are at the very bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. They were outplayed in every aspect of the contest, and this can officially be labeled as one of Boston's most embarrassing losses of the 2024-25 season.

If the Bruins, desperate as they are for every point, can’t manage a better showing against the last-place Buffalo Sabres than they put forth on Tuesday, it’s hard to picture them making much noise in the spring.

The West Coast road trip did not go well for the Buffalo Sabres. Ending with a 3-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, the Sabres returned home after dropping three of the four games on the trip.
