A 20-year-old man was shot by police outside a busy shopping center in Kissimmee on Thursday afternoon after authorities say he pointed a rifle-style BB gun at officers, according to investigators.

A 20-year-old man armed with a red "BB" gun that resembled a rifle was shot by at least one Kissimmee police officer on Thursday after allegedly pointing it at several officers.
