Corey Heim Held On to Be Declared Daytona Truck Winner

The TRICON Garage driver was pushing his teammate, Gio Ruggiero, in the No. 17 JBL Toyota Tundra TRD Pro up the middle of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pack. Heim’s No. 11 Safelite Toyota was being buffeted by the air coming off of the Front Row Motorsports trucks, Parker Kligerman, and others to their inside and outside.

NASCAR Trucks Series Winner at Daytona Disqualified; Corey Heim Awarded the Win

Shortly after Parker Kligerman was flagged the winner in the season opening NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway the sanctioning body disqualified him when post-race inspection revealed his truck was too low in the rear. Second-place finisher Corey Heim in the No. 11 truck was then declared the race winner by NASCAR.
