Six teenagers were shot and wounded after a Sweet 16 party overnight Saturday in Brooklyn, according to New York City police. The shooting happened at around 1 a.m. Sunday, about 20 minutes after the birthday party ended, at an event space in the Cypress Hills neighborhood, officials said.

More details are to be released when it becomes available. Police did not say if a person of interest has been identified.

The footage, now circulating online, shows two armed men firing multiple shots amid screams and chaos as people fled for cover.

At least nine people were killed on Sunday as two gunmen opened fire at Australia's Bondi Beach, the New South Wales Police Force said, adding that one of the suspects was also killed.
