Lucid Gravity is capable of bi-directional charging, supporting up to 80 A at 19.2 kW with the NACS charge port. RangeXchange, first available on Lucid Air, also enables charging another electric vehicle directly via the NACS connector with an optional RangeXchange cable.

Lucid's newly launched Gravity SUV will be able to access Tesla's Supercharger network across the US and Canada starting on January 31. And since the electric vehicle comes with a built-in port that supports the North American Charging Standard (NACS),

Lucid started delivering the Gravity SUV to customers late last year but waited until now to reveal an interesting quirk about the new luxury EV that it says can help make charging better than ever before.

Lucid's new electric SUV can access Tesla's charging network, but its sedan sibling is stuck with the CCS port for the foreseeable future.

With a cutting-edge 900V architecture and native NACS capability, the Lucid Gravity SUV may set the standard for future EV charging.
