Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will deliver the opening keynote at the CES on Monday, with many analysts viewing the event as a potential growth catalyst for the chipmaking giant.

CEO Elon Musk, Amazon (AMZN) founder and executive chair Jeff Bezos, Meta Platforms (META) CEO Mark Zuckerberg, are set to attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration this Monday, January 20. One notable chief executive who won't be at the Inauguration Day: Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang.

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), the producer of the world's most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) chips, has been at the forefront of the AI revolution. All this has helped the tech giant deliver double- and triple-digit quarterly revenue in recent years and has sent revenue to record levels.

Jensen Huang founded accelerated computing company Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) in 1993, and has served as the CEO and president ever since. Nvidia has achieved many breakthroughs under his leadership, but the invention of the graphics processing unit (GPU) in 1999 was particularly momentous.

Huang’s statements resulted in many quantum computing stocks, some of which experts have been bullish on, descending into a free fall. These included Quantum Computing, ( QUBT) D-Wave Systems ( QBTS) , and Rigetti Computing ( RGTI) .
