Chelsea are considering moving their striker plans forward and could swoop in for a top star wanted by Arsenal, according to a report

Chelsea are in talks to sign former Premier League midfielder Douglas Luiz from Juventus, according to reports in Italy. Juve spent over £40m to sign Brazil international Luiz from Aston Villa last summer but are ready to cash in just seven months since he arrived in Turin.

Arsenal have been joined by Chelsea and two other Premier League clubs in the race to sign Matheus Cunha before the January transfer window closes. The Brazil international forward has scored 10 goals this season having scored 14 in all competitions in his debut campaign following a £44million move from Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be leading the race for Sporting CP star and Ivory Coast international Ousmane Diomande.
