Metro Police have released further updates regarding the school shooting tragedy at Antioch High School on Wednesday.

A 16-year-old female student was killed, another student was wounded, and the shooter—a 17-year-old male student—killed himself, per police.

One 16-year-old girl named Josselin Corea Escalante was killed, and two other students were injured. The injured students were taken to Vanderbilt Pediatrics for medical attention. The shooter shot himself and died from the self-inflicted wound.

One student was killed and another was injured after a shooting at Antioch High School in Nashville, Tennessee. The shooter was identified as 17-year-old Solomon Henderson. Henderson turned the gun on himself after shooting the victims. He is deceased.

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WZTV) — Tennessee leaders are giving their condolences after one student was killed in a school shooting in Antioch Wednesday morning. Governor Bill Lee posted to X offering his prayers for "the victims, their families and the school community." He also applauded law enforcement and first responders for their swift response.

MNPD responded to the school where three students were shot, including the suspect, who shot himself, according to police.
