Remembrances and tributes poured in to honor the memory of Greg Biffle, who died in a plane crash along with his family and three others.

Jordan's team, which he co-owns with driver Denny Hamlin, and Front Row Motorsports Inc. reached a deal with NASCAR on the ninth day of their federal trial. The financial agreement will not be publicly disclosed as part of the settlement terms.

NASCAR has faced sustained criticism from fans in recent years, with frustrations ranging from the Next Gen car’s struggles on short tracks to a playoff format many feel places too much emphasis on luck.

NASCAR legend Greg Biffle, his wife, and two children were on a jet that crashed not far from their home in North Carolina, says their YouTuber friend, Cleetus McFarland. “Unfortunately, I can confirm Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, daughter Emma, and son Ryder were on that plane,” McFarland wrote on Facebook.

Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson will return to Daytona International Speedway for the 2026 Daytona 500, driving the No. 84 Carvana Toyota for Legacy Motor Club.The 2026 Daytona 500 is scheduled for February 15.
