Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has claimed that the team that wins the Champions League play-off tie with Manchester City will win the trophy in May. This is the fourth consecutive season the two teams will play each other in the competition.

The Brazilian winger was taunted by Manchester City fans before the game, but put in a man of the match performance to give his side the advantage.
