The 2026 Florida Python Challenge saw hundreds of participants compete to remove the invasive species from South Florida.

The snakes were a little more elusive this year, but 280 invasive Burmese pythons were removed during the annual Florida Python Challenge.

This year’s Ultimate Grand Prize winner and the recipient of $10,000 was Tom Rahill, who removed 96 Burmese pythons from the Everglades National Park during the competition.
