Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New York has been temporarily stopped after three people were struck and killed by a train in Bucks County.

At least one person was killed after being struck by an Amtrak train Thursday evening in Bucks County that reportedly hit two other people, officials said. It was the second fatality involving an Amtrak train in the county in two days.

Officials say a train fatally struck a victim in Bucks County, temporarily halting service for Amtrak and SEPTA Wednesday afternoon.
