Forza Horizon 5, Xbox's premier exclusive racing game, will be released on PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025. Developer Playground Games announced the news on Thursday, just one day after Microsoft revealed that Xbox hardware revenue declined by 29% in its latest earnings report.

Forza Horizon 5 is the latest Xbox Game Studios title to get a PS5 release. The Forza Horizon series has consistently been one of Microsoft’s best-performing titles over the past couple of generations, and the publisher will soon take the franchise to new roads. Forza Horizon 5 is coming to PS5 this spring.

Microsoft Xbox have announced the release of another mainline exclusive to make the leap over to rival console the PlayStation 5 with Forza Horizon 5 set to drop in spring 2025. This continues the recent trend of Xbox exclusive titles becoming cross-platform with Hi Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves amongst those already available.

The game is also getting a new content update on all platforms.
