Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been medically cleared and will start Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves without a minutes restriction, according to coach Steve Kerr.

The Warriors won consecutive games over the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers despite the fact that they didn’t have the services of star guard Steph Curry for either contest.

So Steve Kerr must be breathing a sigh of relief that Curry will return tonight from his latest injury — his quad — to give the Warriors’ offense a spark.

The NBA’s all-time leading three-point shooter got the ball in his team’s tunnel, took two steps forward and hurled it with his right hand toward the opposite basket at the other end of the arena. It went through the hoop and Curry immediately turned around to dash through the tunnel and in the locker room.
