An investigation is underway after a 13-year-old was struck and killed by a pickup truck near a Market Basket store in Leominster on Monday, authorities said.

LEOMINSTER, Mass. — Authorities are investigating after a juvenile was hit by a truck and killed in Leominster on Monday. According to police, officers responding to the area of Market Basket on Sack Boulevard around 6:07 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck found a juvenile victim suffering from critical injuries.
