Hale County residents need to be prepared now for Friday and Saturday’s severe weather. “When we go under a tornado warning, all the 911 lines light up,” Hale County’s Emergency Management Agency Director Russell Weeden said.

Hale County EMA will be having a tornado drill later this week. This event is like their active shooter drill that was done last year. This is the 18th time they have done a drill like this. This year they plan to have debris on Main St. and close the road to conduct this drill. Teams from 16 EMA's will be attending.
