For the rest of the week, school is on a 2 hour delayed start for everyone in the entire Aurora Public Schools system.

Corey Christiansen, APS’s public information officer, stated the cause for the outage was “potential suspicious activity” spotted within the network Monday.

Teachers in Aurora Public Schools are worried about safety as suspicious activity caused the district to shut down its internet and phone services. FOX31's Kasia Kerridge spoke with individuals who wanted to stay anonymous out of fear of retaliation.

The entire Aurora Public School District is now on day three of no internet or phone service. Some employees noticed some potentially suspicious activity within their network and reported it on Monday.

The district is making the decision to keep students in class as they predict the internet outage will be out for more than a week.
