Man injured in Clarksburg house explosion dies
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The man injured in a house explosion in Clarksburg has died. The victim was being treated for life-threatening injuries at United Hospital Center. The explosion occurred Sunday afternoon at around 3:30 at a house on Kramer Street in the Chestnut Hills neighborhood.

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A possible gas leak destroyed a home on Kramer Drive and resulted in the evacuation of much of the Chestnut Hills neighborhood in Clarksburg Sunday afternoon. It’s being reported that one man was injured in the blast, and a dog has not been accounted for at this time. The man is believed to be facing life threatening injuries.

Two days later, residents on Kramer Drive are finally able to return home after a Clarksburg home explosion. According to the Harrison County Office of Emergency Management, residents of Kramer Drive are able to return home Tuesday afternoon.
Clarksburg house explosion caused by gas leak, evacuations ordered
The Clarksburg Police Department confirmed that is was gas leak and asked people to avoid the area “at all costs.” Another official said the leak was “filling up homes.”
