LOUISVILLE, Ky. - While the Louisville men's basketball program earned a bounce back win at Boston College, they were dealt a noteworthy injury in the process.

“Louisville coach Pat Kelsey said there’s no update on the injury to Louisville leading scorer Chucky Hepburn, who left the team’s win at Boston College on Wednesday with an apparent lower body injury,” Pete Thamel said in a post. “He didn’t have any specifics on the injury.”

Louisville point guard Chucky Hepburn left the game with an injury. After the game, head coach Pat Kelsey gave the media a not so good injury update.

The University of Louisville men’s basketball team overcame season-ending injuries to Kasean Pryor and Koren Johnson to rocket into second place in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Louisville bounced back in a major way with a win over the Boston College Eagles, but suffered a big injury in the process.

Against Florida State on Dec. 21, Chucky Hepburn and Terrence Edwards Jr. both logged eight assists apiece; it was the first Louisville game to have two Cardinals log at least eight assists each in the same game since Peyton Siva and Gorgui Deng both had eight against Syracuse in the 2013 Big East Tournament championship game.
