It could be as you are not strapped in There is 5 people in a row and the boat dies spins and sharp turns If you took a baby they possibly would not do that which would mean the other travellers would miss out in the fun Maybe if you had them in a carrier that was on you you might be ok maybe email them and see Good luck
Q:

A:
Probably best to ask staff at Everglades Alligator Farm but as I recall they said the alligators are used for education purposes

Is the airboat ride included in the general admission price too short? Not sure if it’s worth splurging the $400 for the private tour which looks like it might be longer.

Not really sure you'll get more with the paying extended ride in terms of fun. They said you'll get a talk with a naturalist. If it is what you're looking fo, then go for it. In the included ride, the alligators and caimans are to be seen in the beginning. Then you go further away and experience 360 degree turns which completely drench you (especialy if you seat in the first two rows of the boat). That's a lot of fun!
Q:
How long does the alligator show last? How long is the alligator feeding?
A:
Our alligator show and alligator feeding show both last about 10-15 minutes.

I see mixed reviews from TripAdvisor for your hotel. What concerns me the most is a few people have complained about bed bugs (one person even took photos). Also there were concerns of mouse droppings and other issues. I know not all hotels/motels are perfect especially at this rate. Can you tell me if these concerns have been addressed? My husband and I work for a large newspaper. I write an article on being Frugal and this trip is how to travel the Keys on a budget. Thank you for your time. Michelle

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Homestead Florida. You are going to a warm place. So it is kind of like going to a tropical island, no bugs ever die LOL. So it is hard to go to a low budget place that has no bugs or rodents unless the hotel really cares about their reputation. We took a long trip from North Carolina down to go to the Alligator Farm as well as Theatre of The Sea in Isla Morada, Fl. We stayed at both Days Inn and Hamptom Inns and we found that the Hampton Inns are by far the best. They are clean, smell good, and good bug control. We didn't see any bugs in our Homestead, Fl Hampton Inn. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
