I will shut up if asked (generally by going to a different part of the gym), but if I don’t know, I’m gonna get excited.

WEBCheering people on is mostly fine but I can see how people might feel self conscious if they are aware of people watching them struggle. And sometimes there is a fine line between yelling beta and cheering. Showing people moves or giving unsolicited advice on climbs is not cool imo.
